After long months of planning, we have come full circle and made Parkpre’s rich range of gravel bikes even more complete. The Steel 01 fills the missing dowel and brings us a superior gravel bike, thought out in every detail and dedicated to the niche of steel-loving cyclists.
There are so many steps taken both in the design phase and in the construction and outfitting phase for this all-Italian bike.
The frame, the heart of the bike, is made of DEDA 01 steel, entirely machined and manufactured in Italy. A very high quality steel, Hi-Ten type, elastic and durable that is perfectly suited to the world of two-wheelers.
Lovers of steel bikes will surely be happy to ride on the Steel 01 gravel bike, because in addition to the romance inherent in the choice of this material, there is also a lot of technology, reliability and all the main features of steel bikes. Typically thin tube section for an unmistakable, vintage line. Long rear yoke, open frame corners and carbon fork for optimal vibration absorption. Strictly disc brakes.

And then all the reliability of steel in a bike that, with the right (and basic) arrangements, is virtually eternal, thanks to very high breaking points.
All the steps taken at the design level push in one direction: quality. Small details that make a difference, such as the presence, on the left dropout, of an eccentric that facilitates the coupling between frame and wheels during tightening.
Like all Parkpre bikes, the Steel 01 gravel bike is fully customizable in fittings and colors, the latter always included in the price. Basically, 3 different setups will be offered, with a mix of groupsets and accessories to satisfy even those who do not wish to dwell too much on customizing their bike.
