WHO WE ARE.
Parkpre was founded in 1989 in the United States.
The brand was purchased and brought to Italy in 2004, where it developed further through new strategies and a new process of design development and production of road and mountain bike racing frames.
The brand achieves very strong growth in the first decade of the 2000s, entering, anticipating the current trends of many competitors, the amateur sector, do soon become one of the most successful and recognized brands.
The company’s turnaround in recent years is to target a very specific and demanding audience by offering a fully customizable product that retains its origins but winks at technological development. A brand that was thus a bearer of the most authentic values of Made in Italy: craftsmanship, creativity, attention to detail, passion, customer relationship.
This is how Parkpre was born and grows. A company that handcrafts and paints its own frames, with attention to detail and putting the customer, his needs and relationship with the company at the center of its attention.
The company is based in Vicopisano, in the province of Pisa, a quaint medieval Tuscan village on the slopes of Monte Serra, the “mountain of cyclists.”
The company’s facilities house both the production/painting department and a large showroom, where the entire Parkpre collection can be discovered assisted by trained personnel and where the scent of cycling and the atmosphere of world-famous Tuscan craftsmanship can be breathed in.
Bicycling, for us, is first and foremost “passion,” and today it appears more and more like a garment that must be sewn on the cyclist.
It is around the bicycle/cyclist pair that our mission moves, through a path from design, to material selection, from feasibility study, to calculation of construction parameters; from fabrication, to the custom painting stage.
Between Parkpre and its clients there is a constant dialogue, a complicity that is as necessary as ever to arrive, together, at the perfect result.
